[edit] Restore File with Previous Version
Sometimes we delete an item and have no way of getting it back. Luckily there is a feature that will allow you to retrieve a previously saved version of the file. This can be used on anything on \\adminsrv. You know you are on \\adminsrv by starting out in "My Computer" and then seeing your P: drive. It will say "dept" on ADMINSRV (adminsrv). You will see that below.

[edit] Navigate to Folder
1. To use this feature, navigate to the folder on your departmental or home directory.
2. Then right click the folder and select "Properties". This will open a windows like below:

3. Now click on the "Previous Versions" tab at the top of the window. This will show you a listing of that folder that have been backed up from previous points in the day. Select the appropriate version date, often times it will be the most recent and click on "View"
4. This will open up a window like below and will look exactly like the directory/folder you were just in. Now just navigate to the file you want to retrieve, copy (right click - copy), then go back to the actual folder/directory and then paste the document (right click - paste).
Once done close the folder with the backup and the properties box and you are done.
