How to Mount a Network Drive


  • Click on your desktop or on the Finder icon (guy smiling in your dock).
  • Press the Apple Key (Clover Leave)and "k" at the same time or click "Go" at the top of the screen. Then "Connect to Server".
  • Type smb://"sever name without the quotes"
  • Hit enter.
  • You will need to authenticate. Use itsas.
  • To add the drive to the dock drag it to the right side of the separator in the dock
  • Apps go on the left side of the dock folders on the right side of the dock. If there isn't an Applications folder in the dock: Open the Macintosh HD and move the folder down there.
