[edit] How to install the printer on a mac

  • Install the Kyocera Driver Installer for the KM-C2520 Model. Available here. Look under Printer Drivers for Kyocera Mita OSX 10.4 & 10.5.
  • Extract the Installer and double click the .mpkg file to run it. Click through the installer, it should be straight-forward.
  • Goto System Preferences.
  • Click Print & Fax.
  • Click the plus button on the bottom left. If it is grayed-out, you will need to click the lock icon and enter in your username/password.
  • Click IP on top.
  • Select the LPD protocol.
  • Type in the IP of the printer: thestar.admin.mtu.edu
