Mac:Apps

Some of that apps are kind of obvious but you may want a list.
This is just the list of stuff. There will be links leading to more information once documentation is formed for them.
Most of the time to install an app you simply drag the icon to the Applications folder.
Leopard = Vista
Tiger = Xp
Safari = Internet Explorer.
Mail = Outlook but better
Quicktime = Windows media player
Itunes = Windows media player
Adium = Trillian
IChat = Messenger
Office 2004 = Office 2003
Office 2008 = Office 2007
Stuffit = Winzip
Utilities
Activity Monitor = Task Manager
Console = Error Log
Directory Utility = Joins computer to domain and allows Network accounts access.
Boot Camp = How to put Windows on a Mac
Teminal = Useless box that takes up room on your screen.
ILIFE
ILife is useful but not really useful. Haven't decided what to get the users yet. Lode Pcs ahve licenses for ilife from their previous tiger installs.
Iphoto = Place to organize pics.
Idvd = dvd player/ editor
Imovie = movie maker
Interesting Stuff
Parallels and Vmware allow you to install Windows as virtual machine on a mac
Hot Corners allows you to drag your mouse to the corners of the screen and change views. Great for window management.
Widgets are the same as gadgets. hit f12 to make them come up.
The startup sound can't be changed no nay never.
